Eight nursing students addressed the medical needs of people in the Dominican Republic during spring break. Dr. Amy Luckowski has been taking nursing students to the Dominican since 2014 in partnership with Solid Rock International.
Many people in the country live far from a healthcare facility and do not have the means to afford regular check-ups and essential medicines. The Neumann team traveled to different rural locations each day, providing and assisting with outpatient medical care.
