Unlocking The Unknown

A selection of poems from Unlocking the Unknown

The Mind Section:

Blank Euphoria

Mind seems to betray me.

Thoughts of obsidian paint the walls.

Letters of shh come haunting,

Until the void is no longer empty.

In the whirls of ecstasy,

My thoughts now lie.

Waiting

Time seems to stand upon the hill.

Going forward, sometimes back,

Feet stuck to the ground in orbit.

Lightyears are the ones I envy.

Shush

To the brim.

My head fills, as angst holds me hostage.

The murmurs, now haywire into white noise.

Tell me again, what is the point?

For the shades of chaos are all one and the same.

The Romance Section:

Honeydew

Delay in memory with hopes of blossom.

Pulled from its root, extracting Venus,

Cheeks flushed with rose, skin fragranced in lavender,

Feed one’s soul with fallen petals of longing.

Paper Galaxy

Flashed with memories yet to come,

Eyes progressing one’s hopeful allure,

Materials of our present cemented into space,

The dust of my star awaits you.

Loves Me (Not)

Seizing aroma of Daffodil.

Slivers of muffled intimacy fabricated in sickened illusions.

Counting turns to ash, as softened petals adore into blaze.

Will you tell me if it was all a lie?
