Club ice hockey delivers a dominating performance on Senior Night

Capping off the careers of 10 graduating seniors this semester with a resounding 7-1 victory against Salsbury University brought a satisfying conclusion to their collegiate journey.

Neumann took a penalty to begin, as Nicholas Pullano was guilty of a hooking call against Salsbury. Neumann was able to fight off the penalty and capitalized a moment later.

Pullano put a puck into the back of the net for his sixth goal of the season. Nick Fonseca was credited with the assist.

Later in the first period, Salsbury took two penalties. Neumann was able to create a solid push, taking advantage of senior Ryan Gosselin finding the net, assisted by Bailey Guetens.

The effort gave the Knights a 2-0 lead at the 13:13 mark in the first period.

Less than a minute later, Neumann scored again.

The goal was attributed to freshman Tommy Angelone, assisted by seniors, Andrew McGinley and Ralph Triboletti

Neumann was not done scoring in the first period.

Sophomore Jacob McCallion scored, assisted by Pullano, giving Neumann a 4-0 lead going into the second period. 

To begin the second, Salsbury scored their only goal of the game, making it 4-1.

The Knights were too much to handle for Salsbury.

Junior Connor Ryan scored his first goal of the season at the 7:50 mark in the second period.

Andrew McGinley tallied another goal for Neumann at the 3:19 mark taking it to the end of the second, for a score of 6-1.

The third period was no different from the rest Neumann continued to dominate and saw another goal by Pullano.

Neumann finished the game 7-1 against Salsbury giving them another win for the books. This game was a dominating performance for Neumann.
