Daily Scripture Reflection Videos
Join clergy from around the world for a reflection on the scripture readings of the day.
Gratitude Journal
For what are you grateful? Can you find something, however small, in each day for which to express gratitude? Keep a log of your daily joys. (This can be a great opportunity for a break from technology - go old school with a pen and paper, or if you prefer to stay connected, the Grateful: A Gratitude Journal App provides daily prompts for reflection on gratitude).
A Playlist for Social Distancing
Enjoy this playlist for both reflection and a little mood boost!
On the walk to Emmaus, it took time for Jesus' disciples to become aware of his presence among them. An Emmaus walk is a prayerful experience through which you are challenged to see the presence of Christ among you in a peer. For a virtual Emmaus walk, read the scripture passage linked above, go out for a walk in your neighborhood or local park (where you know you will be safe!) and call a friend or family member who may need connection during this time of social distancing, or a companion who you need in this moment. Where can you find Christ in your walk with a friend?
Service at Home
Looking for an activity to keep you busy and help the community? Cradles to Crayons asks for cards to put in donated children's backpacks at the beginning of the school year. Stockings for Soldiers asks for Christmas cards to put in stockings for the troops. Turn a craft day into an act of service! (And drop them off to Megan Camp upon return to campus).
