Dr. Ann Mitchell, our director of first-year and second-year experience, has been published in *ASCEND to Higher Retention Rates*, Volume 3, a collection of strategies to improve student retention. Her contribution to Chapter 7 is titled "Student Success Involves Support, Training and Then the Nudge.”

The latest ASCEND volume -- Affordability, Support, Culture, Engagement, Nudges, and Data -- features insights from over 90 experts across a wide range of institutions.

“This collection brings together best practices and proven strategies, focused on boosting student retention, completion, and success,” says Mitchell.
