Join us Thursday, May 8, for Neumann University’s 13th Annual LEAD Conference and Poster Symposium, presented by the Honors Program.

The event begins at 2:40 p.m. in Bachmann 315, with oral presentations from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in three concurrent sessions. This year’s topics include the isolating effects of social media, the emotional challenges injured athletes face during recovery, and how mindfulness can help students with ADHD reduce stress.

At 4:30 p.m., head to the Mirenda Center Atrium for the Poster Symposium. Projects include research on cultural barriers in athletic training, anxiety after injury, nuclear sustainability, and the risks of cult recruitment in the digital age.

Free and open to the public, the LEAD Conference is a chance to explore thought-provoking research, meet student scholars, and join in meaningful conversations. Light refreshments will be served.
