Twenty students from Denmark are getting a taste of American culture and college life during a two-week experience at Neumann.

The students are enrolled at Tradium, a technical and business college in Randers, Denmark. They arrived on September 13 and will be on campus through September 26.

Our Scandinavian visitors will tour the radio and television studios, digital forensics lab, library, and athletic facilities. Faculty members -- including Kristen Acosta, George Asimos, Janis Chakars, Tom Dodds, Demi Moore, Barry Person, and Rick Sayers – will introduce them to the university’s academic programs.

Last week, Leanne Havis and her team presented a program titled “Exploring American College Life” to

the group, which stayed at the Best Western Plus Concordville Hotel during their time in the area.

“They are visiting Neumann as part of an academic and cultural experience,” explained Victor Betancourt, associate provost for global engagement. Their next stops include Washington, DC, and New York City.
