In fiscal year 2023-24, donor-funded scholarships provided more than $740,000 to 189 Neumann students.

“Through donor-funded scholarships, our alumni and friends are investing in human potential and providing talented, driven students access to a values-based Neumann education,” says Carrie Snyder, vice president for university advancement.

Donor scholarships reduce financial burdens, allowing students to focus on academic success and the transformative power of a Neumann education.

Lauren, a junior honors student majoring in early education/special education, hopes to become a second-grade teacher. She has received the Matthew R. Hallinan ’08 Scholarship for the last three years.

“The Hallinan scholarship not only eases the financial burden of my education but also serves as a great source of motivation for me to strive for excellence,” she explains.

“It has inspired me to make the most of the opportunities presented to me, and I am committed to honoring the values associated with this scholarship. I owe much of my success to the extraordinary blessings in my life afforded to me through the people who have changed my life for the better.”

In addition to the donor-funded scholarships, 78 endowed and 13 annual scholarships were awarded in 2023-24. Through 422 gifts, friends and alumni contributed $408,000 to Neumann scholarships during the same year.
