The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is moving from spring to fall in 2026. Instead of being part of the Alumni Awards in March, Neumann’s highest athletic recognition event will be part of Homecoming weekend on September 26.

"We are excited to change the structure and format of the Hall of Fame to provide a top-level experience for our honorees, past recipients, alumni, donors, and friends of Neumann Athletics,” explained Athletic Director John Krimmel.

“This is a new era for Neumann as we launch into the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), so there is no better time to make this move to the new format,” he noted. “Having the opportunity to recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals, teams, and extraordinary supporters of Neumann Athletics over Homecoming weekend will add a memorable experience to an already special weekend."

To prepare for a ceremony with the spotlight solely on athletics, Neumann is also soliciting nominations for its Hall of Fame through March 31.

Former student athletes, teams, coaches, and administrators of the university’s athletic program may be considered. The nomination form webpage includes the criteria and a full list of current members.

Players and coaches are eligible for induction to the Hall of Fame five years after the date of their graduation or departure from the university.

“The Athletic Hall of Fame was created to recognize those who have distinguished themselves through intercollegiate athletics or who have brought honor to the university through their team's accomplishments in athletics,” said Dr. Chris Domes. “We invite our friends and neighbors who have been fans of the Knights through the years to submit nominations.”

Neumann established its Hall of Fame in 1996. There are 51 members: 36 players, four teams, seven coaches, and four administrators.
