Neumann University has signed new articulation agreements with Cecil College and the University of Pittsburgh Bradford Campus to facilitate student transition to a variety of NU undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
The renewed agreement with Cecil College, located in Maryland, includes students in the Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Fine Arts, Associate of Arts in Teaching, and Associate in Applied Science degree programs. They are eligible, upon graduation from CC, for admission to a wide variety of undergraduate degree programs at Neumann.
Additional requirements apply for those interested in the Neumann nursing major.
Neumann will waive the application fee, award transfer scholarships of $12,000 to $17,000 to full-time students who graduate from Cecil College with a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher, and provide on-going advising while these students complete their associate degrees.
Cecil College students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa may receive an additional $3,000/year PTK grant from Neumann. This is in addition to the transfer merit scholarships.
The transfer students must complete certain Core Course requirements and at least 50% of any traditional baccalaureate degree program at Neumann.
“We are thrilled to continue on this collaborative journey between Cecil College and Neumann University,” said Dr. Mary Way Bolt, Cecil College president. “Through this partnership, we will empower students by providing seamless pathways to higher education, fostering academic excellence, and cultivating opportunities for personal and professional growth.”
Seniors at the University of Pittsburgh Bradford Campus (Pitt Bradford) who earn a GPA of 3.0 or higher in their undergraduate program may apply to any Neumann master’s degree program after August 1 in their senior year to receive advanced acceptance upon completion of their undergraduate degree.
Those who receive a 3.5 GPA or higher at Pitt Bradford can receive direct admission into select graduate programs at Neumann University if other admission criteria are met (excludes the MS in Nursing and MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling).
