Dr. Michelle Santana, assistant professor of Nursing, has been appointed the coordinator of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives. Santana had already served as chairperson of the University Council for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (UCDEI) for a year when Dr. Domes selected her for this new, part-time position. Her role as coordinator is to effectively orchestrate all of the work being done through a variety of on-campus DEI initiatives.
