In a March 16 visit to a political science class, Rep. Leanne Krueger (D-161) emphasized the importance of voting and urged students to become involved in the democratic process.

“Every single vote matters,” she told Dr. Robert McMonagle’s class on American Political Parties, noting that one 2022 House election was decided by a mere 68 votes. Krueger also recommended that students consider getting involved in the political process by volunteering for campaigns, running for office at the local level, or participating in an advocacy group.
