Author and entrepreneur Annmarie Kelly ’01 has a deep appreciation for Neumann University and how she was welcomed into the campus community as an adult student. She established the Victorious Woman Scholarship to pay it forward and help a current NU student.

She came to campus in the spring to present a $4,000 check to junior Alison Rockenbach, an early education/special education major. Rockenbach is a transfer student who had to put her education on pause during the pandemic.

Kelly is well aware of the financial challenges students have when attending college. “This scholarship isn’t huge, but it may be enough to push the student over the edge and pay for that last bit of tuition,” she explained.
