Stewart McLaurin, an expert on the White House, visited campus on March 23 to reveal little-known details about the history of the iconic building and share some untold stories about its past.

McLaurin is president of the White House Historical Association, founded by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy in 1961 to share and preserve the rich history of the White House. A private nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, the association is committed to enhancing the understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of the executive mansion.
