The Knights’ athletic teams achieved extraordinary success in 2025–26, earning four NCAA tournament invitations and a host of individual honors.

Their performances were so remarkable that Dr. Chris Everett Domes highlighted the accomplishments during his presidential address at commencement.

“You rallied on and off the court, the field, and the ice to bring home four conference championships this year—the most NCAA appearances in one year for the Knights.”

Men's Soccer

Coach Erik Temple’s squad finished the season with a 13-4-3 record (7-0 in conference) and defeated archrival Marymount, 2-0, in the Atlantic East Conference (AEC) championship match.

Jordan Illian was named AEC Offensive Player of the Year after recording 13 goals and five assists, while Dominic Petruzzelli ’26 captured his second consecutive AEC Defensive Player of the Year award. Luke Mejia and AJ Henry ’26 also earned First Team All-Conference honors.

Men's Basketball

The Knights entered the Atlantic East Tournament as the No. 4 seed before defeating top-seeded Marymount, 75-68, and No. 2 seed Gwynedd Mercy, 66-65, to capture the conference championship.

Under Coach Jim Rullo’s leadership, Neumann finished 19-10 overall (8-6 in conference). Donte Dupriest ’26 averaged 19.8 points and 10.7 rebounds per game while earning his second consecutive Atlantic East Player of the Year award. DJ Earl also received First Team All-Conference honors.

Men's Ice Hockey

Coach Mike Hedden guided the Knights to a 17-9-2 record (14-5-2 in conference) and a dramatic 5-4 overtime victory over Stevenson in the Middle Atlantic Conference championship game.

Lucas Culhane and Christian Green earned First Team All-MAC recognition. Green, a goaltender, was also named Rookie of the Year after finishing with a 1.65 goals-against average—seventh best in Division III—and a .947 save percentage, third in the nation. Both marks established Neumann single-season records.

Women's Lacrosse

In just her second season leading the program, Coach Jackie Neary guided the Knights to a 9-9 overall record (5-0 in conference) and an 18-13 victory over Marywood in the Atlantic East championship game. Neumann also earned the Atlantic East Coaching Staff of the Year award, Neary’s fourth conference coaching honor.

Alena Catka, Brighid Brady, and Nora Brady were named to the Atlantic East First Team. Catka established herself as one of the conference’s premier offensive players after recording 64 goals and 35 assists.

According to Athletic Director John Krimmel, the field hockey and softball teams also enjoyed standout seasons. Field hockey increased its win total by seven games and advanced to the conference championship game, while softball finished the regular season with a 19-18 record—an improvement of nine wins over the previous year.
