When Sora Luna Lounge opened in October of 2019, it was meant to be a hub of student activity. Just five months later, COVID-19 stalled that plan. This year, Student Affairs and the School of Business reimagined the space as a student-run business with a graduate assistant and four student interns planning to open the eatery in the spring 2022 semester.

The interns and graduate assistant will report to Business Dean Eric Wellington. Their job responsibilities will include budgeting, accounting, marketing, managing, hiring, payroll, and numerous other business-related operations. The graduate assistant will have a managerial role, supervising the interns in the process.
