It has been a busy couple of weeks for Neumann Knights’ fall sports as they all enter the final stretch of their regular seasons. Here is a quick recap of everything that happened in Neumann sports from October 5-19.
Men’s Soccer
The Neumann University men’s soccer team has been a real standout these past few weeks. Going into October, the team had a record of 2-4-1, but at this point, the team has blasted to a record of 6-4-2, staying undefeated in conference play and commanding a winning record at .583.
The Knights played their final regular season home game on Wednesday against Immaculata University. With two more games to go before the start of conference play, it will be interesting to see if the Knights can stretch this winning streak further.

Women’s Soccer
The women’s soccer team has also been fighting in the last few weeks before conference play, currently sporting a record of 6-5-1 with a .538 percentage.
The women’s team has two more home games to finish off the season, so fans have more chances to support the Knights on the last leg before conference play begins.

Field Hockey
Field Hockey has had some intense overtime matches the past couple of weeks. Most recently, the Knights beat Manhattanville College three minutes into the first overtime.
The team currently sports a 5-11 record with a .312 percentage. The Knights have two more games in their regular season before entering conference play.

Women’s Volleyball
The Knights recently took a trip to Puerto Rico for an invitational tournament. While there, the team would secure a win against Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico in five sets.
The team has had a highly successful season overall, currently holding a 14-8 record with a .636 percentage. The Knights have five more games remaining before conference play begins with a home Tri-Match on October 28.
