Next up on 25 Days of Excellence features the captain from the Neumann University Men’s Lacrosse team, Adam Fagan. Adam, a senior from Monsignor Bonner High School is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Athletic Training. Fagan strives for excellence by taking initiative to act on opportunities by displaying a “can do” mentality in all that he does. Whether it’s on the field, in the classroom, or in the weight room, Fagan is always pushing guys around him to the go the extra mile.

What are you most passionate about?

I am most passionate about the team I am apart of here at Neumann and working to progress that everyday.

What are you most grateful for in life?

I am most grateful for my family and the opportunities I am given to pursue my passions.

What are the most important things to you in life?

My relationships with my girlfriend, family and friends are what matter most to me.

How would you describe yourself?

Self motivated and excited to pursue my passions.

What are your values ? What do you represent? Who do you want to embody?

I try to represent the values of hard work and loyalty in all aspects of life. I want to embody someone who is a strong leader and practices what he preaches.

Look at your life right now. Are you living the life of your dreams?

I think I am on the right track to get to where I want to be and I am enjoying the process and look forward to future opportunities.

What advice would you give yourself 3 years ago?

I would like to have told myself enjoy every moment because this phase of your life goes quickly.

What do you want to achieve in life.. short term vs long term?

Short term I want to be looked at and remembered as a good leader to my team and an example of the culture we wish to portray. Long term I hope to be a well respected strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level.

What drives you?

I believe I am a self driven person. I have plenty of internal motivation to be the best at what I want to do. It is easy to be driven because I enjoy the things that I pursue.

What does excellence mean to you?

I consider excellence to be when others respect your actions and use them as examples of what to achieve.
