If There Was No Tomorrow, How Hard Would You Skate Today?

I have created so many memories from being a member on the Neumann University Women’s Ice Hockey Team. From traveling to different states and getting to play in some awesome rinks to enjoying lots of team dinners, to scoring my first goal, dancing in the locker room before games, and having my dog Puck cheer me on from the stands, this team has shaped me into the women I am today. This team means everything to me. The Neumann University Women’s Ice Hockey family welcomed me with open arms and has been my second family for the past four years. I am forever grateful for the lifelong friendships and memories that I’ve made here. To the next person who wears #44, never forget how blessed you are to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Remember to always play for the logo on the front, not the name on the back. Most importantly, being a student athlete at Neumann has given me a solid work ethic and a great ability to manage my time more effectively. If there was no tomorrow, how hard would you skate today? 100 games are not guaranteed to anyone. Make sure you play each one like it’s your last. I’ll miss you all, but we’ll always be family!
