It is Earth Week! 

What can you do this week to pray for and be mindful of creation?

Earth Week Challenge:

  1. Pick one morning/afternoon/evening to commit to staying away from screens 
  2. Pick one morning/afternoon/evening to keep all lights/electronics off
  3. Read about how the pandemic is affecting the environment
  4. Reflect on how you can create treasure from trash - look to these instrumentalists for inspiration
  5. Take a “tour” of a National Park 
  6. Go for a prayer walk 
  7. Pray a daily prayer for creation: 

Monday: St. Francis Canticle of Creation 

Tuesday: Pope Francis Prayer for Creation

Wednesday: God’s Grandeur 

Thursday: Through the intercession of St. Kateri, patroness of environment

Friday: For An End to Waste (And don’t stop here! A list for continued prayer for creation)
