Sr. Madonna Marie Cunningham, OSF, Neumann's president, joins Sr. Corda Marie Bergbauer, OSF, and Dr. Margaret Mary Kearney in welcoming Joseph Biden, a young U.S. Senator from Delaware, to campus in 1978. Rain moved the commencement ceremony inside that year, and Biden spoke to the graduates in the library. Biden was inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States on January 20, 2021.
