Students took to the highways and the gardens to celebrate the Earth during the week of April 19. Fritz Haas, director of counseling, initiated a community fruit and vegetable garden behind the Counseling Center for Wellness. Dr. Patti Strobl, assistant professor of biology, gathered a crew of volunteers to clean up Route 452 between Concord Road and I-95. Even future Neumann students (currently enrolled at the Child Development Center) got into the Franciscan spirit by planting flowers near Morgan Circle.
