Criminal Justice majors in the Criminal Law course visited the offices of Delaware County District Attorney Jack Whelan recently. In addition to meeting DA Whelan, the students spoke with members of that office’s Criminal Investigative Division (CID) with whom they are pictured.
During the same courthouse trip, students met Charlie, one of the sheriff’s dogs that specializes in sniffing out explosives.
The fall-semester course was taught by Rita Frey, an assistant district attorney in the Delaware County DA’s Office. She organized the trip to exhibit how the prosecutors and detectives work together.
