Envisioning and Shaping the Future

Thursday, April 24th from 2 - 5 p.m.

In the wake of the economic recession, the future of the Philadelphia region seems to be as bright as ever. Several burgeoning industries both inside and outside of the city have far-reaching economic impacts for the state and country. From pharmaceuticals to films to finance, leaders from all sectors must possess strong vision and the strategic vigilance to align partners representing diverse constituencies towards a common goal. Our next leadership program on Thursday, April 24, will bring together three leaders representing three very different industry sectors to discuss their personal perspectives and philosophies on successfully guiding a business.

Bruce Toll, Vice Chairman of Toll Brothers, will speak about his family legacy, having co-founded Toll Brothers nearly 40 years ago, and how he was able to leverage real estate success into a highly-diversified business portfolio.

Renold Capocasale,
Founder and CEO of FlowMetric, will discuss how he utilizes his 20 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry to inform his current practice in state-of-the-art drug development.

Sharon Pinkenson, Executive Director of the Greater Philadelphia Film Office, will speak on her role at the center of the current political push to "uncap" the Pennsylvania Film Production Tax Credit program, which proponents say has the potential to generate billions in economic impact for the region. Sharon will be replacing Chester County Commissioner Ryan Costello, who is no longer participating in this program due to a scheduling conflict.

Attorneys who attend a program will earn 3 CLE credits (2 substantive, 1 ethics) per course and accountants who attend earn 3 CPE credits (2 other, 1 ethics) per course.
