Everything Old is New Again comes to Neumann University on Thursday, April 10,

at 1:30 p.m. 

The rags-to-riches duo that features Don Kawash, an acclaimed Ragtime pianist, and the bass baritone, Randy Shupp, return to the Neumann stage as they perform popular tunes from America’s most famous composers. The duo covers the bittersweet musings of Scott Joplin’s solo piano rags to the witty and elegant songs of such musical masters as Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, George Gershwin and Richard Rogers.


Local freelance writer, Ruth Rovner, raves, “Don Kawash and Randy Shupp are musicians who turn back the clock with their performances. They're drawn to the classics of American popular music and they're bringing that music to audiences who especially appreciate it. They've met with responsive audiences wherever they perform."


This program is presented by the Cultural Arts Forum, which for 44 years has been sponsoring events to support adult women students at Neumann University through the endowed scholarship named in honor of the founder of the Forum, Margaret Mary Kearney. Since its founding in1970, the Forum has presented more than 250 events and seminars.
