Dana Snyder, the CEO of Positive Equation, will share tips on digital storytelling and provide tools for fundraising success at “Turn Your Mission into an Online Movement” on Wednesday, March 6.
Registration is now open for her 9:30 a.m. presentation in the Bruder Life Center. Students, faculty and staff may attend for free by using a promotion code to register.
“Non-profits and small businesses depend on fundraising to keep their mission alive,” according to Judi Stanaitis, assistant vice president for Neumann’s Center for Leadership. “It was important for the Center for Leadership and The Foundation for Delaware County to invite a nationally recognized speaker like Dana to ignite the art of digital storytelling and give others the tools to attract and keep donors.”
Through a series of comedic stories, Snyder will share hard-won personal branding lessons about gaining credibility and becoming recognized as an industry expert. She will share real life marketing case studies to equip nonprofit teams with fresh ideas, digital marketing tools, and new knowledge to attract new donors, express gratitude to current supporters, and raise more funds.
In 2017, Snyder founded Positive Equation, a digital consultancy focused on helping nonprofits cultivate an online following of donors, volunteers, and advocates. She is also the host of the Missions to Movements podcast, which examines real-world digital marketing case studies from organizations that are committed to making a positive impact.
Snyder has worked with Dress for Success, the USTA, American Idol, The Gary Sinise Foundation, Hashtag Lunchbag, and many other organizations. Earlier in her career, she spent time in New York City working on business development and client management for notable sports, entertainment, and consumer brands.
Snyder earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations at the University of Central Florida in 2010.
The event is a partnership between Neumann’s Center for Leadership and The Foundation for Delaware County. Tickets are $15.
