At the May 16 academic awards convocation, four faculty members were recognized for teaching or research: Demi Moore, assistant professor of criminal justice, for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching; Karen Wientjes, professor of physical therapy, for Excellence in Graduate Teaching; Fred Loomis, lecturer in business, for Part-time Faculty Excellence in Teaching; and Rachel Welicky, assistant professor of ecology, for Excellence in Scholarship.
