The Neumann University Players perform this fall in their production of Godspell November 13 through the 16 in the Fred P. Meagher Theatre.

Based on the Gospel according to Matthew and boasting a sparkling score, Godspell features classic songs with an array of visuals arts, drawing from various theatrical traditions, such as pantomime, acrobatics and vaudeville. In this energetic and uplifting musical, the parables of Jesus Christ come to life with humanity and heart. Godspell is a unique reflection on the life of Jesus with a message of kindness, tolerance, and love.

Opening on Broadway in 1971, Godspell has played in various touring companies ever since. The song Day by Day, written by Stephen Swartz, spent 14 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #13.

General admission is $10. Seniors/students are $5 each. Performances run Thursday, November 13, Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, November 16 at 2 p.m. in the Fred P. Meagher Theatre in the campus Life Center. For ticket information please call 610-361-5455.
