Danielle Grayson of the Neumann University softball team is the 2014 NCAA Division III Statistical Champion for Runs Batted In (RBI) per game.
During the 2014 season, Grayson knocked in 53 runs, for an average of 1.47 per game.
The sophomore from Williamstown, NJ, had 47 hits including nine doubles and five home runs, over just 36 contests in a weather-shortened season. She batted .431 from the plate and scored 21 runs as the Knights went 24-12 overall and 19-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC).
For the season, Grayson received a handful of accolades. She was named to the CSAC first team All-Conference, CSAC All-Academic, the NFCA third team All-Region and the Philadelphia Inquirer All-Area Academic Team.
Grayson joins former Knight Jenn Goslin as an NCAA Statistical Champion. Goslin was the Division III champion for on-base percentage in 2010 and for home runs and RBI in 2008.
