Neumann Welcomes the Greater South Jersey Chorus

The Greater South Jersey Chorus makes its way onto the Neumann University stage on Sunday, April 27, at 3 p.m.

 

The GSJC presents Brahms’ Requiem for their performance at Neumann University.  Covering Johannes Brahms’ universal statement of hope and comfort, the GSJC have invited guest soloists, soprano Kelly Ann Bixby and bass-baritone John Andrew Fernandez.

 

Established in 1992, the Greater South Jersey Chorus (GSJC) is a 90-plus member, mixed voice ensemble that embraces a diverse repertoire of choral genres. Members are drawn from more than 40 communities throughout the Southern New Jersey and greater Philadelphia areas. The current membership is comprised of choristers ranging from teens to seniors with a mix of experience levels from amateur to professional. Led by artistic director, Dean Rishel, the group is singer-organized and singer-managed.

 

The performance will be in the Meagher Theatre, located in the campus Life Center.  Admission is free and open to the public. For more information please call 610-558-5626.
