Human Trafficking: Tell 108 Million Peopleby February 2

Welcome. By reading this copy and viewing the video below, you are part of a grassroots effort to make 108 million people aware of the dangers of human trafficking by February 2.

 

The University is engaged in spreading the word about this horrific crime because students from the campus ministry COR team and Student Government Association have made it a campus priority. In fact, part of the Keep the Dream Alive program (recently postponed until February) will address the issue and explain how widespread it is.


Human trafficking enslaves 27 million people across the globe. The crimes are often associated with large events, such as the Super Bowl, scheduled for Met Life Stadium in New Jersey on February 2.

 

Because 108 million people viewed the Super Bowl in 2013, the grassroots movement has set a goal of reaching 108 million people with the anti-trafficking message by February 2.
