Dr. Najiba Benabess, dean of the School of Business, has been invited to speak at The Global Impact Forum: Workforce Readiness in the Age of AI and Automation on November 3. Sponsored by Penn State, TGIF is an annual event aimed at fostering economic development and social mobility through education and innovation. In a presentation based on her book, Irreplaceable Human Intelligence, Dr. Benabess argues that preparing students for the AI era means emphasizing uniquely human skills — creativity, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and ethical reasoning.
Dr. William Pezzotti, program coordinator for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, successfully published his article "Central venous catheter complications: A nursing perspective" in the September 2025 issue of Nursing2025 Journal.
Sean McDonald, executive director of Neumann Media, received a Distinguished Adviser Award from the College Media Association on October 18. The awards recognize advisers with five or more years of experience who have demonstrated consistent and exceptional service in support of student media and who have made a significant impact through leadership, mentorship and dedication to journalistic excellence.
