Center Stage Productions brings children’s theater to the Neumann stage with Little Red and the Hoods from July 10 - 12.

The story takes on a more modern twist for today’s children. Little Red is taking cookies to her grandmother when she encounters Harry the Wolf. Harry works for the notorious gang leader, Ma Sugar Lump. Ma looks to steal the recipe for the cookies and get rich selling them to all the people in the land.

This play teaches its young audience about not judging people by their looks, how to protect themselves from strangers and the importance of reading. Adding audience participation offers plenty of educational fun in this family friendly production.

General admission is $7. Groups of 15 or more are $5 each. Performances run Thursday through Saturday, July 10 - 12, at 11 a.m. in the Fred P. Meagher Theatre in the Thomas A. Bruder Jr. Life Center on Neumann's campus. Running time is approximately 45 minutes.
