Media Novelist and Co-Author to Speak about Writing Process
Jennifer Blake, Neumann University Class of 1994, and Nick Moccia
spent three years writing They All Fall Down.

Jennifer A. Blake, a 1994 Neumann University graduate and Media resident, along with co-author Nick Moccia of Glendora, New Jersey, will talk about the creative journey and the writing process for their recent novel, They All Fall Down, as part of the Neumann Honors Program Speakers Series.

Their presentation on Thursday, October 24, at 1 p.m. is free and open to the public. It is scheduled for the Devine Hospitality Suite in the Mirenda Center for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development on the Aston campus.

They All Fall Down is based on the co-authors’ dramatic but cathartic journey to write a novel grounded on true events from Moccia’s past. Years ago, the two best friends shared stories about their families as they drove through his old neighborhood on the way to a concert. As Moccia spoke, he recalled a tragic murder/suicide in his own family that had affected him deeply and shaped his life. Blake joked that they should write a book. After three laborious years, They All Fall Down was published.

Both authors will be available to sign copies of They All Fall Down, which will be on sale after the presentation.
