Neumann and Ursinus sign graduate admissions agreement

Neumann University and Ursinus College have signed an agreement that will guarantee the acceptance of three Ursinus graduates into each of seven graduate programs at Neumann, provided they meet admission criteria and have a 3.0 GPA.

Neumann graduate programs that are part of this agreement include Master of Science degrees in Athletic Training, Business and Organizational Leadership, Cybersecurity, Education, Forensic Accounting and Cybercrime, Forensic Psychology, and Sport Business. Many of the programs are available in a fully online format.

Additional qualified students may be admitted based on program capacity.

Neumann will also guarantee interviews for two Ursinus students who meet all admission criteria for the university’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

“This agreement provides outstanding opportunities for Ursinus College graduates to earn career-oriented graduate degrees and become leaders in a variety of growing industries,” said Francesca Reed, Neumann’s vice president for enrollment management and marketing.

According to Kelly Sorensen, associate dean and professor of philosophy at Ursinus, “This partnership between Neumann University and Ursinus College enhances the strengths of both institutions, opening up more pathways for students interested in continuing their question-shaping and problem-solving liberal arts education. Exciting career opportunities are ahead for students who pursue these pathways.”
