Dante DeSimone, a freshman at Neumann University, died on January 12, 2014, as a result of a tragic automobile accident. Dr. Rosalie Mirenda, University President, asks that the entire University community keep the DeSimone family in its thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. A remembrance and prayer service for Dante will be held shortly after students return to campus on January 15.

“We are deeply saddened by the news of Dante’s passing. We extend our deepest condolences to his parents, siblings, family and friends,” said Director of Athletics and Recreation Chuck Sack. Dante was a member of the University Men's Lacrosse team.
