Senator Pat Toomey
|
The Neumann University Center for Leadership is pleased to announce the first program in our Fall 2014 Speaker Series. On Friday, September 26, we welcome very special guest, Senator Pat Toomey, for a program entitled "The Path to Prosperity in America."
Senator Toomey has been called "a leading voice on money matters in the United States Senate" by The Philadelphia Inquirer. He helped to write and enact the bi-partisan JOBS act, which cut regulatory burdens on small and medium-sized businesses making it easier for them to raise capital and create jobs. For this program, the Senator will discuss his role in shaping national fiscal policy and share his thoughts on how America can return to an age of lasting prosperity.
Immediately following Senator Toomey's remarks, there will be an open discussion led by PA Representative Joseph Hackett and Center for Leadership Curriculum Developer Daniel J. DiLucchio entitled "Where the Future Jobs Will Be." Representative Hackett and Mr. DiLucchio will discuss characteristics of visionary leaders and how they can leverage political and personal capital for future growth and job creation.
