Students presenting during a past LEAD Conference Poster Symposium
The call for proposals for the LEAD Conference is open—now’s your chance to step forward and share your ideas with the Neumann community.
Hosted by the NU Honors Program, the LEAD Conference—Learning, Exchanging, Achieving, and Discussing—will take place on Thursday, May 7, 2026, featuring an afternoon of engaging presentations and a campus-wide Poster Symposium.
Since its founding in 2012, LEAD has been a signature Neumann tradition—bringing together students, faculty, and staff to share research, creative work, and big ideas through TED-style presentations and a Poster Symposium where attendees can engage directly with presenters.

- Showcase your work to the campus community
- Engage in meaningful conversations
- Strengthen your resume and academic experience
Last year’s presentations explored topics ranging from mental health and social media to healthcare, environmental science, and student well-being—showing that every idea has a place at LEAD.
You don’t need to be an expert—just willing to participate. Students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines and experience levels are encouraged to submit. At a time when the world is rapidly evolving—from advances in AI to shifting social and global challenges—there’s never been a better moment to explore ideas, ask questions, and share your perspective.
