Love was in the air at the We The Kings concert.

The Friday night of Homecoming Weekend was focused on students. The President’s Scholarship Reception recognized the students who are current scholarship recipients and the donors who made the scholarships possible. Many students had the opportunity to thank their benefactors in person. Maria Sotomayor, a member of the class of 2013, returned for the event and spoke emotionally about her time at Neumann, acknowledging that she received the personal support and career preparation that she needed.

Fireworks then drew a crowd to the front of the Mirenda Center for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development, where students, alumni and donors mingled to view the colorful display.

The evening ended with a concert by We The Kings in the Mirenda Center with students packing the floor of the main arena to dance and sing along with the band.
