Tony Killian
Tony Killian will perform a selection of dramatic readings from Voices from Vietnam on November 6 at 1:30 p.m. in the Meagher Theatre.
A stage play that premiered in November 2024, Voices from Vietnam is a powerful tribute to those who lived through the Vietnam War, drawing together 67 firsthand accounts from soldiers, sailors, airmen, nurses, prisoners of war, family members, a Vietnamese refugee, and others whose lives were forever changed by the conflict.
Audience members will hear stories of those who served under unimaginable conditions, those who waited back home, and those who search to this day for MIAs – all performed as a series of intimate monologues.
The play was written by Dr. Harry Kantrovich, a retired Navy Master Chief, in collaboration with Bruce H. “Doc” Norton, a retired Marine Corps Major and Vietnam veteran. Through them, the tales of Vietnam offer a genuine portrait of the war’s human cost and lasting impact.
Killian is an experienced performer. On screen, he has appeared in The Haunting on the River and Parrot. His stage credits include Tuesdays with Morrie, The Crucible, and A Christmas Carol.
The event is sponsored by the Cultural Arts Forum at Neumann University. The Forum hosts lecture series, workshops, and author presentations to enrich the educational experiences of the university and the community.
Admission is free for Neumann students, faculty, and staff.
