Students rolled up their sleeves and planted fruits and vegetables behind
the Counseling Center for Wellness.

Students took to the highways and the gardens to celebrate the Earth during the week of April 19. Fritz Haas, director of counseling, initiated a community fruit and vegetable garden behind the Counseling Center for Wellness. Dr. Patti Strobl, assistant professor of biology, gathered a crew of volunteers to clean up Route 452 between Concord Road and I-95. Even future Neumann students (currently enrolled at the Child Development Center) got into the Franciscan spirit by planting flowers near Morgan Circle.

Members of Students for Environmental Awareness (the SEA Club) helped
the next generation learn about Mother Earth.

Dr. Patti Strobl’s Adopt-a-Highway volunteers collected bags of trash
from along Route 452.
