Bachelor's to Master's: 5-Year Programs Offered at Neumann for Ambitious College Students

Do you know what a five-year program (or 4+1 program) is?

A five-year college program is a great way to get your bachelor's and master's degrees at an accelerated rate, all at the same school. Instead of completing your bachelor's in four years and then working on your master's for a separate two or more years, a five-year program allows you to get your bachelor's and master's in just five years!

Below are three amazing five-year programs offered right here at Neumann University!

Check out our new digital resource page, The Pathway to College: How High School Students Can Best Prepare for College!

1. ACCOUNTING/M.S. IN ACCOUNTING (4+1)

Accounting is one of the more versatile majors when it comes to post-graduation employment. This five-year program leads to both a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S. in Accounting with an emphasis on Forensics and Fraud Detection.

All undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Accounting are guaranteed automatic acceptance into NU’s master’s program with a concentration in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Detection as long as they maintain a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0.

2. SPORT MANAGEMENT/M.S. IN SPORT BUSINESS (4+1)

Start working towards your dream career in the exciting and popular sports industry. NU’s five-year program leads to both a B.S. in Sport Management and an M.S. in Sport Business.

All undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Sport Management are guaranteed automatic acceptance into NU’s master’s program as long as they maintain a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0.

3. CRIMINAL JUSTICE/M.S. IN ACCOUNTING (4+1)

Do you want to take a step towards a career in law enforcement?

This five-year program leads to both a B.A. in Criminal Justice and an M.S. in Accounting with an emphasis on Forensics and Fraud Detection. All undergraduate students pursuing a four-year degree in Criminal Justice are guaranteed automatic acceptance into a one year M.S. in Accounting program as long as they maintain a cumulative grade point average of a 3.0.
